Scientists record the shortest period of time – New world measurement record

Scientists in Germany have measured the shortest length of time ever measured, setting a new world record for measuring short intervals. This is the time it takes for a particle of light (photon) to cross a hydrogen molecule and is equal to about 247 zeptoseconds. This is the shortest time ever measured on Earth. A zeptosecond is one trillionth of a billionth of a second or 10 ^ -21 seconds or the number 0 followed by a decimal point of 20 zeros and one.
