OPEKEPE: Reports for eight producers to the prosecutor

A report to the competent prosecutor’s office for 8 producers who declared rented areas of private pastures in various areas of the country covering an area of 8,187 acres was sent today following the ongoing inspections and will be continued by the services of OPEKEP. Ε. on the false declaration of land by producers for the distribution of National Reserve rights 2019 and 2020. The report was deemed necessary since the audit provided evidence and strong evidence of irregularities that make it special, as it has the following characteristics. applicant producers, located in Rodopi, Grevena, Arta, Preveza, Fokida, and Lassithi rent large areas of private pastures of approximately 1,000 acres each with which they request the distribution of National Reserve 2020. From the control of the contracts submitted together with the SA that the legal possession of private pastures is not documented by the landlords since: the E9 of the landlords before 2020, the year when the application for national reserve was submitted for the first time, ie the years 2017, 2018, 2019 there are no records containing parcels of private pastures that they lease although these are too large areas to acquire the same areas in 2017, 2018, 2019 participated in the Technical Solution for the distribution of public pastures to breeders, which suggests that these are public pastures and not private ones as attempted to appear with the triangular rentals and simple indication of occupation and property in E9 of 2020 by the lessor. there are problems with the used real estate identification numbers (Α.Τ.Α.Κ.) or with the lack of Α.Τ.Α.Κ. It is worth noting that: based on the submitted lease agreements for all 8,178 acres the rent to be paid by the producers requesting National Reserve 2020 amounts to only 290 euros, ie 0.035 euros per acre, almost zero. The total of 8 producers, if they had no other control problems would amount to 253,800 euros. This recurring event, of triangular leases of private pastures, in combination with the large areas that are suddenly acquired within a year with the sole purpose of using through the national reserve, is a serious indication and reinforces the suspicion that the statement of each of the 8 producers is false. For the identification of the 8 producers, the geospatial control was used for the first time between different years, in order to determine based on the historicity of each declared area of parcels kept in the IACS since 2015, what was their use and possession. In such cases in all the Regions of the country, there is evidence that there was some coordination and so many different producers applied the same method for the collection of Community subsidies illegally and that is why the report was made to the competent prosecutor’s office. The audit will continue to determine how the specific producers located these large areas and whether there was a guidance center. Ο.Π.Ε.Κ.Ε.Π.Ε. Points out that the protection of the agricultural fund and transparency in the payment of aid is a first priority for the Agency. Each case of complaint or risk analysis is checked and if there are findings, the procedures provided by the regulations and the law will be followed. These concern a very small minority of producers and the other producers who make up the majority have nothing to fear. Follow it on Google News and be the first to know all the news.
