Long-term vision for rural areas

As part of the initiative taken by Agriculture & Rural Development Commissioners Janusz Wojciechowski, Cohesion & Reforms Ms Elisa Ferreira and Vice-President for Democracy and Demography Ms Dubravka Suica to draw up a “Long-term vision for rural areas” Announcement of the European Commission in the summer of 2021, has launched a wide public electronic consultation with all involved and especially with the local population of rural areas, in order to gather the views of stakeholders on the current living & working conditions in rural areas as well as changes which are expected to occur by 2040. The questionnaire is available in Greek and is open until 30/11/2020. The results of the questionnaire will contribute to the preparation of the relevant Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council.
