Investments in agricultural products but also in the provision of services to serve the rural population are supported by the Attica Region, utilizing the resources of the Rural Development Program (RDP 2014-2020). More specifically, by decision of the Attica Regional Governor G. Patoulis, they joined the RDP 2014-2020 the acts under the Action for “Development / improvement of entrepreneurship and competitiveness of the area of ​​application in specialized sectors, regions or beneficiaries” and the Action for “Horizontal aid to the development / improvement of entrepreneurship and competitiveness of the region The operations, with a budget of 2.95 million euros, are financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). In particular, the subsidized operations concern: – Support for investments in the processing, marketing and / or development of agricultural resulting in a non-agricultural product to serve the specific objectives of the military – Strengthening investments in the tourism sector in order to serve the specific objectives of the local strategy – Horizontal application of processing, marketing and / or development of agricultural products resulting in an agricultural product in order to serve the objectives of the local strategy – Horizontal implementation of investment aid in the field of tourism in order to serve the objectives of the local strategy – Horizontal implementation of investment aid for the provision of services to serve the rural population (kindergartens, sports venues, cultural centers, etc.) in order to serve the objectives of the local strategy.
